Delacorte Press to Publish First-Ever English Translation of the Third Book in Eiko Kadono’s Internationally Acclaimed KiKi’s Delivery Service Series

The internationally acclaimed Kiki’s Delivery Service series featuring one of fantasy‘s most beloved heroine continues with new English-language editions, with the third installment, KIKI AND THE OTHER WITCH set for publication in February 2027.

This marks the first time this book is available in North America, and follows Kiki and the New Magic, releasing in English for the first time this month.

Delacorte Press, an imprint of Random House Children’s Books, will publish the novel on February 23, 2027. The announcement was made by Wendy Loggia, VP & Publisher, Delacorte Press. Ali Romig, Editor, Delacorte Press, acquired World English rights from Hillary Jacobson at Creative Arts Agency on behalf of Hamish Macaskill at The English Agency (Japan) Ltd. Penguin Press to Publish Charles Spencer’s SWAN SONG, the Story of His Sister Diana, Princess of Wales

RHCB to Publish Young Adult Adaption of Tony Award-Winning Broadway Musical Suffs

Following its celebrated Broadway run and national tour, the hit musical Suffs will reach a new generation of readers with the publication of SUFFS: A Novel Based on the Tony Award-Winning Broadway Musical. The young adult adaptation was cowritten by the musical’s creator Shaina Taub and New York Times bestselling author Betsy Cornwell and will be published by Random House Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Random House Children’s Books, on February 2, 2027. The announcement was made by Michelle Nagler, SVP & Publisher, Random House Books for Young Readers Group. Caroline Abbey, Editorial Director at Large, Random House Books for Young Readers, acquired North American rights from Dara Kaye at William Morris Endeavor and will edit the adaptation. Penguin Random House and Partners File Amended Complaint Challenging Iowa Book Ban Case

On July 27, Penguin Random House, alongside Hachette, HarperCollins, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, Sourcebooks, and the Authors Guild, filed an amended complaint in statewide book banning law Penguin Random House v. Robbins. In response to the Eight Circuit’s decision not to rehear the case earlier this year, the updated complaint asks the court to protect nine books that the coalition argues should never have been removed from Iowa school libraries. The books include:
