Virginia Governor Cites THE WAR FOR KINDNESS Author’s Works in “Random Acts of Kindness Week” Proclamation
Virginia Governor Ralph R. Northam proclaimed that February 10-16, 2019 will be recognized as “Random Acts of Kindness Week” for the commonwealth of Virginia, and referenced the works of Crown author Jamil Zaki, Professor of Psychology at Stanford University: Studies show that “people imitate not only the particulars of positive actions, but also the spirit underlying them … this implies that kindness in itself is contagious and that it can cascade across people, taking on new forms along the way.” — Jamil Zaki
