Penguin Random House has two Webby Award and Webby People’s Voice Award nominees: Penguin Random House Instagram in the “Corporate Communications” portion of the Social Media category and The Cat in the Hat Builds That Random House Children’s Books book series and PBS Kids show app, produced by Traci Lawson (RHCB Digital Marketing), Lynn Kestin Sessler, and Alison Folino (RHCB Digital Marketing) for “Best Family & Kids app,” in the Apps, Mobile & Voice category, it was announced by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).
Recognized as a mark of international distinction for Internet excellence, the Webby Awards are chosen by the IADAS Academy, while the Webby People’s Voice Awards are voted on by the public. All Penguin Random House colleagues are encouraged to vote!

All Webby winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 23, and honored at the 23rd Annual Webby Awards, hosted by actor/comedian Jenny Slate, in New York City, on May 13.

The Academy is comprised of Executive Members—leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities—and Associate Members who are former Webby Winners, Nominees and other Internet professionals.
