Chanel Cleeton, author of THE LAST TRAIN TO KEY WEST (Berkley), will talk about her new novel in a virtual discussion, moderated by Renee Rosen, hosted by Books & Books and the Miami Book Fair, via Crowdcast on Thursday, June 18 at 7:00pm (ET).
In THE LAST TRAIN TO KEY WEST, it’s 1935 and three women are forever changed when one of the most powerful hurricanes in history barrels toward the Florida Keys. Over the course of the Labor Day holiday weekend, the women’s paths cross unexpectedly, and the danger swirling around them is matched only by the terrifying force of the deadly storm threatening the Keys.
Ms. Cleeton is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick Next Year in Havana. She received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Richmond, The American International University in London and a master’s degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Chanel also received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She loves to travel and has lived in the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.
