Delacorte Press authors Holly Jackson (GOOD GIRL, BAD BLOOD), Natasha Preston (THE LAKE) and Karen McManus (THE COUSINS) will be in conversation at a virtual event hosted by Murder By the Book (Houston, TX) via Zoom on Saturday, March 6 at 4:00 pm (ET).

Holly Jackson’s GOOD GIRL, BAD BLOOD is the sequel to the #1 New York Times bestseller, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. More dark secrets are exposed in this true-crime fueled mystery. Jackson started writing stories at a young age, completing her first (poor) attempt at a novel when she was fifteen. She graduated from the University of Nottingham, where she studied literary linguistics and creative writing, with a master’s degree in English. She enjoys playing video games and watching true-crime documentaries so she can pretend to be a detective. She lives in London.

Hot on the heels of The Twin, Natasha Preston’s THE LAKE is a scary and suspenseful read about a summer camp filled with dark secrets. Preston is the #1 New York Times bestsellingauthor of The Cellar, The Cabin, Awake, You Will Be Mine, The Lost, and The Twin. A UK native, she discovered her love of writing when she shared a story online–and hasn’t looked back. She enjoys writing romance, thrillers, gritty YA, and the occasional serial killer.

In Karen McManus’ THE COUSINS, the entire Story family has secrets. Whatever pulled them apart years ago isn’t over–and this summer, the cousins will learn everything. McManus earned her BA in English from the College of the Holy Cross and her MA in journalism from Northeastern University. She is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of One of Us Is Lying, Two Can Keep a Secret, One of Us Is Next, and The Cousins. Her work has been published in more than 40 languages.
