Mary Bly, author of LIZZIE & DANTE (The Dial Press), will discuss her latest novel during the Random House Book Club Virtual Happy Hour via Zoom on Thursday, June 24 at 7:30 pm (ET).
Fellow Random House author Lori Nelson Spielman tells readers, “Prepare to be swept away on an Italian holiday, one that sizzles with romance, intrigue, and mouthwatering cuisine.” In her latest novel, Bly creates a romance that demands readers to reflect on how far we should travel to find a future worth fighting for.
LIZZIE & DANTE is a penetrative, bold, and deeply romantic tale of a woman whose life turns upside down after she meets a mysterious chef while on vacation in Italy. In the novel, Lizzie Delford is trying to make sense of her life following a nasty breakup and a bad diagnosis when she takes one last lavish vacation to the Italian island of Elba. When Lizzie leaves the celebrities and yacht owners in the dust, she coincidentally meets Dante and the love story begins.
Mary Bly is a New York Times bestselling author who also writes under the name Eloisa James. She is the mother of two and is also the chair of the English department at Fordham University. She currently lives with her family in New York, but can also be found in Paris or Italy.
