Our 5 Booker ‘24 PRH Shortlisters

Five of the six titles announced September 16 for the 2024 shortlist of the internationally prestigious U.K. Booker Prize literary fiction award are published by PRH imprints in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., two of them here Stateside.

Long-form works of fiction published between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024 in the U.K. and Ireland are eligible for the 2024 Prize.

All six finalists are invited to attend the gala formal dinner ceremony in London, Tuesday, November 12, which is televised nationally, during which the winner is announced.

Congratulations to our shortlisters, and to our U.S. longlisters: HEADSHOT by Rita Bullwinkel; MY FRIENDS by Hisham Matar; HELD by Anne Michaels; WANDERING STARS by Tommy Orange, who have not made the cut.
