Worldwide #1 bestselling author Dan Brown’s new novel, THE SECRET OF SECRETS, will be published by Doubleday on September 9, 2025. Brown is the author of the international publishing phenomenon, THE DA VINCI CODE, featuring Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, and his novels are published in 56 languages internationally with over 250 million copies in print. Brown is also the author of numerous #1 bestsellers, including ORIGIN, INFERNO, THE LOST SYMBOL, ANGELS & DEMONS, DECEPTION POINT, and DIGITAL FORTRESS.
The announcement was made today by Bill Thomas, EVP & Publisher, Editor-in-Chief, Doubleday, and North American rights were acquired from Heide Lange at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, Inc. THE SECRET OF SECRETS will be published in hardcover and as an ebook, and in audio by Penguin Random House. An announced first printing of 1.5 million copies has been set. Doubleday VP and Executive Editor Jason Kaufman will edit the novel.
