The International Thriller Writers, an honorary society of authors who write books broadly classified as “thrillers,” announced the finalists for the 2017 Thriller Awards. Six authors and their books published by Penguin Random House imprints are nominees in the following categories:

The 2017 ITW Thriller Award winners will be announced at ThrillerFest XII on July 15 at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan.
ITW’s mission is “To bestow recognition and promote the thriller genre at an innovative and superior level for and through our Active members; to provide opportunities for mentoring, education and collegiality among thriller authors and industry professionals; and to grant awards for excellence in the thriller genre.”
