2 of the Top 5 Restaurants on the 100 Best Restaurants of NYC List Are From Knopf Authors
The New York Times has just named the 100 Best Restaurants of New York City, and 2 out of the top 5 restaurants are from chefs whose books are published on the Knopf Cooks list. Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi took the first spot on the coveted list and Via Carota took the fourth spot.
“We at Knopf Cooks are so proud of our authors — Kwame Onwuachi; and Jody Williams and Rita Sodi — who were just recognized by the New York Times as proprietors of two of NYC’s top five restaurants.”
Tom Pold, Senior Editor, Knopf Cooks: “From the day in 2016 when I first met with Kwame to talk about his vision for the book that would become NOTES FROM YOUNG BLACK CHEF, it was clear that he was the future of food in America. Now that Tatiana is the hottest table in town, I’m just thankful he agreed to include his recipe for Mom Duke’s Shrimp in his cookbook, so the rest of us can enjoy it, too!”
