Ten years after Hanya Yanagihara’s bestselling novel made its debut, actor Matt Bomer (Fellow Travelers, Maestro, Magic Mike) voices a new audiobook edition of A LITTLE LIFE (Random House Audio, on sale February 4, 2025). Bomer performs Yanagihara’s brilliant story of friendship and love in the twenty-first century with masterful skill and nuance.

The book follows four college classmates as they move to New York in search of fame and fortune. While their relationships, which are tinged by addiction, success, and pride, deepen over the decades, the men are held together by their devotion to the brilliant, enigmatic Jude, a man scarred by an unspeakable childhood trauma. Yanagihara’s stunning novel is about the families we are born into, and those that we make for ourselves. Infamously profoundly moving, the book has also been adapted for the stage and become a social media sensation, particularly on TikTok, where it’s inspired legions of tear-filled reader videos.
