Former President Barack Obama was the very special guest on yesterday’s “Mondays with Michelle Obama,” the new story-time initiative for kids and families from Penguin Young Readers, Random House Children’s Books, and PBS KIDS featuring the former First Lady of the United States.

On Monday, May 25, Sunny and Bo, the Obama family’s canine companions, will be on hand when Mrs. Obama reads CAN I BE YOUR DOG? , written and illustrated by Troy Cummings.
The popular “Mondays with Michelle Obama” story-time program (#PBSKIDSRead, #ReadTogetherBeTogether) began on April 20 in support of the recently-launched Penguin Random House literacy initiative, “Read Together, Be Together,” and PBS KIDS’ “Read-Along.” For more details, click here.
