Join Random House for Big Ideas Night: Black Activism, as Blair Imani, author of MAKING OUR WAY HOME: The Great Migration and the Black American Dream (Ten Speed Press) and Jamia Wilson, co-author of ROAD MAP FOR REVOLUTIONARIES: Resistance, Activism and Advocacy for All (Ten Speed Press) will be in conversation with moderator Glory Edim, author of WELL-READ BLACK GIRL: Finding Our Stories, Discovering Ourselves (Ballantine), via Zoom on Wednesday, June 24 at 8:00pm (ET).

They will discuss the history of Black activism, how to make your voice heard, and how Black activists can best protect their mental, emotional, and physical health while fighting for a just world. As Audre Lorde wrote, “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
