They will discuss the history of Black activism, how to make your voice heard, and how Black activists can best protect their mental, emotional, and physical health while fighting for a just world. As Audre Lorde wrote, “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
