Author Cavan Scott, a fan of audio dramas and the NPR Playhouse radio dramatizations of the original Star Wars trilogy, says, “I was over the moon to be asked to write the first Star Wars audio drama in many years. As I started out writing audio drama, writing DOOKU: Jedi Lost was like coming home, and it was incredibly exciting to tell stories of Jedi, Sith and a Galaxy Far, Far Away in audio form. Telling the story of one of the saga’s greatest villains, chronicling his life from age ten to a man in his sixties, through audio helped bring this story to life, providing voices for new key characters in the story of the Jedi. Hearing key moments of Dooku’s life will give the listener an intimate understanding of this most enigmatic of Star Wars characters.”

Nick Martorelli, the audio producer of DOOKU: Jedi Lost and also a fan of the original Star Wars radio dramas, adds, “Audiobooks are so popular, and we wanted to tell a narrative fiction story with light sabers and music and sound effects, so that you’re listening to a new Star Wars adventure.”
