HEIR by Sabaa Tahir Named Inaugural GMA YA Book Club Pick

ABC’s Good Morning America has selected HEIR by Sabaa Tahir (On sale October 1, 2024; Putnam Books for Young Readers) as their inaugural GMA YA Book Club pick. In this action-packed, ruthless, and romantic new fantasy Sabaa Tahir, National Book Award Winner and #1 New York Times bestselling author of All My Rage and An Ember in the Ashes, masterfully interweaves the lives of three young people: an orphan seeking revenge, an outcast in search of a new life, and a prince in exile, as they grapple with the burdens of power, the treachery of love and the devastating consequences of unchecked greed.
The news was announced last Thursday on Good Morning America. People.com ran a feature story about the news later that day. Tahir will appear on GMA on October 18th to discuss the book.
