Join PRH and Save the Children in the Annual Make Summer Fair Campaign
As part of PRH’s ongoing partnership with Save the Children, we are excited to support their annual summer education campaign, Make Summer Fair, which aims to ensure children in rural America continue learning during the summer months. Penguin Random House has collaborated with Save the Children on their annual summer education campaign since its inception.
Make Summer Fair campaign, kicked off this week and will run until International Literacy Day on September 8. The campaign is dedicated to supporting Save the Children’s work in rural U.S. communities. The initiative aims to ensure that children in these areas have the books and educational resources they need for their growth and development.
Penguin Random House and Save the Children have enjoyed a partnership spanning over a decade, united by a shared mission to inspire the next generation of readers. Our joint efforts have focused on providing children, both domestically and internationally, with fair access to books. Over the past eleven years, we have proudly donated more than 2 million books to support their programs.
Together, we are committed to increasing book access, building home libraries, and addressing book deserts in rural America. We believe that through reading, children can develop independent thinking, free expression, and creativity. Books have the power to connect, transform, and lead us towards a brighter future for the next generations.
