Cree Myles, influencer and curator of All Ways Black, will host an Instagram Live conversation this Wednesday, March 9 at 12:00 pm (ET) to celebrate the launch of the Black Creatives Fund’s second annual Revisions Workshop, a joint initiative from We Need Diverse Books and Penguin Random House.
First Cree will go live with Trae Hawkins and P.C. Verrone, the two winners of last year’s inaugural Revisions Workshop, to discuss their experiences going through the workshop process, their writing journeys, and advice for the incoming cohort. Then she’ll chat with Black Creatives Fund Program Manager Breanna McDaniel and Random House VP and Executive Editor Jamia Wilson about application tips and what editors typically look for in manuscript submissions.
