Julie Orringer to Virtually Discuss THE FLIGHT PORTFOLIO via Zoom (7/16)
Magic City Books welcomes Julie Orringer for a virtual author event via Zoom on Thursday, July 16 at 8:00 pm (ET) to celebrate the Vintage paperback release of her engaging historical novel, THE FLIGHT PORTFOLIO, inspired by the World War II story you’ve never heard–the real-life quest of an unlikely hero to save the lives and work of Europe’s great minds from the impending Holocaust.
Orringer is also the New York Times bestselling author of these two award-winning books: The Invisible Bridge, a novel, and How to Breathe Underwater, a collection of stories. She has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Cullman Center at the New York Public Library, the MacDowell Colony, and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard.
