The virtual launch of the new board book series, BIG IDEAS FOR LITTLE PHILOSOPHERS (Putnam Books for Young Readers), will feature author Maureen McQuerry in a storytime event hosted by Liberty Bay Books (Bremerton, WA) via Zoom on Tuesday, July 14 at 11:00 am (ET).

This series is about asking deep questions in a wonderfully accessibly way. Written by Maureen McQuerry and Duane Armitage, with illustrations by Robin Rosenthal, BIG IDEAS FOR LITTLE PHILOSOPHERS features four board books on prominent philosophers and their main teachings: Imagination with René Descartes, Equality with Simone de Beauvoir, Happiness with Aristotle, and Truth with Socrates. Through bold illustrations and relatable scenes, these concepts are explored in an accessible way for kids that allows them to connect these big ideas to their lives.
