New Ian McEwan Novel, LESSONS, Coming from Knopf in September 2022

Alfred A. Knopf and Vintage Books will publish Ian McEwan’s new novel, LESSONS. Knopf EVP and Publisher Reagan Arthur acquired US rights from Georges Borchardt at Georges Borchardt, Inc. Literary Agency for publication on September 13, 2022 with an announced first printing of 100,000 copies. The book will be published in hardcover and as an eBook, and in audio by Penguin Random House; it will be published in trade paper by Vintage the following year. Jonathan Cape in the UK and Alfred A. Knopf Canada will publish simultaneously.
