Our 2017 New England Book Awards Nominees

Five books published by Penguin Random House imprints earned nominations for the 2017 New England Book Awards. Sponsored by the New England Independent Booksellers Association (NEIBA), the awards celebrate books about New England, set in New England or by an author residing in New England.

Here are our nominees, in the following categories:

Fiction 

Saints for All Occasions by J. Courtney Sullivan (Knopf)
Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley by Hannah Tinti (Dial Press)

Nonfiction 

Glass Universe by Dava Sobel (Viking)
Stranger in the Woods by Michael Finkel (Knopf)

Children’s 

Beyond the Bright Sea by Lauren Wolk (Dutton Books Young Readers)
