Penguin Random House Audio to Publish THE MAKING OF JACKSON PARRISH, an Audiobook Original Thriller
Penguin Random House Audio will publish THE MAKING OF JACKSON PARRISH (Random House Audio, on sale September 16, 2025), a new audiobook original thriller by Liv Constantine, New York Times bestselling author of THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH.
Liv Constantine is the pen name of sisters Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine, whose books have been translated into 29 languages, are available in 34 countries, are in development for both television and film, and have been praised by The Washington Post, USA Today, People, Good Morning America, Newsweek, Bustle, and more. Their first novel, The Last Mrs. Parrish, was a Reese’s Book Club Pick and is soon to be adapted for Netflix.
THE MAKING OF JACKSON PARRISH, an enticing prequel to their most beloved series, centers on a young Jackson before he becomes the renowned husband of Liv Constantine canon. The 90s find Jackson Parrish in Chicago, unsatisfied with his role at his father’s insurance company and out of place both with his peers and the young women of Chicago’s dating pool. As he is wrestling with his thirst for a more elevated way of life, he crosses paths with a stranger living with all the sophistication and thrill Jackson himself is seeking. Stavros Demaris ushers Jackson into a world of glamour, wealth, and power; a globe-trotting existence from Malta to Mykonos. THE MAKING OF JACKSON PARRISH explores the beginnings of an ambitious man and his introduction to the world of extravagance.
“We were fascinated by the idea that villains aren’t born, they’re made,” say the authors. “In exploring Jackson’s origin story, we wanted to uncover the seductive mix of privilege, trauma, and ambition that forged the man behind the mask.”
The audiobook is narrated by a cast of three narrators:
Ari Fliakos as Stavros
Suzanne Elise Freeman as Evangelina
and Scott Brick returning as the voice of Jackson Parrish
Penguin Random House Audio’s audiobook-exclusive and audio-first publishing program includes titles with authors like Ali Hazelwood, Erik Larson, Fiona Davis & Greg Wands, Jason Reynolds, J.
