Penguin Random House has a new partnership with Inkluded.

Penguin Random House has announced a new partnership with Inkluded, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering diversity and expanding access within the publishing industry. The collaboration reflects our continued commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable publishing ecosystem.

As part of the partnership, Penguin Random House has made a donation in support of Inkluded’s educational and professional development initiatives. This contribution will help sustain programming designed to demystify publishing, expand access to industry knowledge, and support underrepresented talent as they pursue careers across publishing.

In addition, Penguin Random House will host Inkluded members for a behind-the-scenes office tour this spring. The visit will give participants an inside look at how a major publishing house operates, offering insight into editorial, marketing, publicity, production, and corporate functions. By opening its doors to Inkluded members, Penguin Random House is helping make the publishing industry more transparent and accessible.

Claire von Schilling, EVP & Director of Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility, underscored the importance of the partnership: “Penguin Random House is committed to fostering a publishing industry that welcomes and supports talent from all backgrounds. Partnering with Inkluded makes it possible for us to invest directly in efforts that ensure publishing is accessible to all, strengthening the future of our field. We are proud to support Inkluded’s mission and look forward to engaging with its members as we continue to advance equity across publishing.”

“Inkluded is incredibly excited about the opportunities its partnership with Penguin Random House presents to both current Inkluded Academy graduates still seeking their first roles in the industry and future publishing aspirants from the BIPOC community.” said Michael Mejias, Executive Director at Inkluded. “We look forward to the impact this collaboration will have on fostering a more inclusive publishing landscape and thank PRH for their advocacy and support.”

Penguin Random House’s support reflects a shared commitment to creating a more inclusive publishing industry. Through a combination of financial support and real-world exposure, this partnership helps create a more welcoming space for emerging talent and advances long-term efforts toward equity across publishing.
