PRH Pilots Diversity Library Program in Ten Title One High Schools Across NYC

Share this story with your world:

As we continue to support diversity and inclusion, Penguin Random House is piloting a Diversity Library program with ten Title One high schools from across New York City’s five boroughs. Each institution selected to be part of the program will receive a total of 20 titles by diverse authors geared towards high-school-aged students, published by Random House Children’s Books and Penguin Young Readers imprints. The books will become a part of the schools’ libraries.

Each year, Penguin Random House contributes millions of books that serve as an invaluable resource to schools and programs worldwide. Embracing the diversity of our authors and employees, through various initiatives in and out of the office, PRH strives to create an environment of belonging and respect for all.

This Diversity Library program reinforces our ongoing belief in the power of books to connect and change lives, and our mission of nourishing a universal passion for reading by connecting authors and their writing with readers everywhere.
