Random House Kicks Off “HUNGRY HEARTS: Live” Virtual Series with “Courage” via Zoom (2/9)
To celebrate HUNGRY HEARTS: Essays on Courage, Desire and Belonging (The Dial Press), a new collection edited by Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, Random House presents “HUNGRY HEARTS: Live,” a virtual events series taking place across three Tuesday evenings in February. Each night, a panel of HUNGRY HEARTS authors will gather onscreen to share their stories in an open, inspiring conversation centered on a particular theme. Each ticket includes admission to all three events: “Courage” on February 9, “Desire” on February 16, and “Belonging” on February 23. To register, click here. Austin Channing Brown, Natalie Guerrero, Cameron Esposito, Nkosingiphile Mabaso and Luvvie Ajayi Jones will discuss Courage via Zoom on Tuesday, February 9 at 8:00 pm (ET).
Authentic storytelling is a radical act of love that can connect and heal our fractured world. In HUNGRY HEARTS, sixteen innovators, creatives, and thought leaders—Austin Channing Brown, Sue Monk Kidd, and Luvvie Ajayi Jones, among others—share intimate stories of uncovering beauty and potential through moments of fear, loss, heartbreak, and uncertainty.
Over the course of four years, the traveling love rally called “Together Live” brought together diverse storytellers for epic evenings of laughter, music, and hard-won wisdom to huge audiences across the country. Well-known women (and the occasional man) from all walks of life shared their most vulnerable truths in a radical act of love, paving the way for healing in the face of adversity.
