THE PROPHETS by Robert Jones, Jr. Wins Triangle Award for Debut Fiction

The Publishing Triangle has announced the winners of the 34th annual Triangle Awards, honoring the best LGBTQ fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and trans literature published in 2021, with THE PROPHETS by Robert Jones, Jr. (G.P. Putnam’s Sons) winning the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction. Each award winner receives $1,000.

Congratulations to Mr. Jones, his editor Sally Kim, and everyone at Putnam.

Founded in 1989, The Publishing Triangle began with a mission to bring publishing professionals together to network, provide support, solidarity, and a sense of community while advancing the cause of fast-emerging LGBTQ literature.
