Two Writers Talking Fiction: Kevin Kwan and J. Courtney Sullivan via Zoom (7/1)
Kevin Kwan, whose latest book is SEX AND VANITY (Doubleday), and J. Courtney Sullivan, most recently author of FRIENDS AND STRANGERS (Knopf), will be in conversation about themes of family, relationships and society in fiction, at this Two Writers Talking Fiction virtual event via Zoom on Wednesday, July 1, at 7:00 pm (ET).
Kwan, the iconic author of the bestselling phenomenon Crazy Rich Asians, returns with SEX AND VANITY, the glittering tale of a young woman who finds herself torn between two men: the WASPY fiancé of her family’s dreams and George Zao, the man she is desperately trying to avoid falling in love with.
Sullivan’s FRIENDS AND STRANGERS is an insightful, hilarious, and compulsively readable novel about a complicated friendship between two women who are at two very different stages in life, from the bestselling author of Maine and Saints for All Occasions (named one of the Washington Post‘s Ten Best Books of the Year and a New York Times Critics’ Pick).
