making a difference beyond the books … I think this is the perfect conclusion to a week when we will celebrate all the originality, talent, and ambition that sets us apart.” Our colleagues took Markus’ words to heart as they donated their time and support to company-sponsored volunteer events at such organizations as The Book Fairies, CAMBA, Food Bank NYC, Good + Foundation, Henry Street Settlement, The HOPE Program, Housing+Solutions, Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, New York Common Pantry, Read Ahead, QSAC: Quality Services for the Autism Community, South Bronx Educational Foundation, Toni’s Kitchen and WHEDco.  A number of employees also volunteered at other organizations such as Behind the Book, Gay Men’s Health Crisis, St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center and Hunger Free America.
