Bantam Books Acquires Two Frances Neagley Thrillers Co-Written By Lee Child And Yasmin Angoe

Bantam Books has acquired two new thrillers by #1 New York Times bestselling author Lee Child featuring Frances Neagley, the iconic former U.S. Army Master Sergeant, from the bestselling Jack Reacher novels.

The first novel, ZERO MARGIN, co-written with acclaimed thriller writer Yasmin Angoe, will be published in March 2027. Two Penguin Random House Titles Win the Tenth Annual Anna Dewdney Read-Together Award

Penguin Young Readers, Every Child a Reader, and the Children’s Book Council are pleased to announce that there are two winners for the 10th annual Anna Dewdney Read-Together Award, as judged by an independent selection committee.

Announced on Every Child a Reader’s website, the winners for 2026 are BUFFALO FLUFFALO AND PUFFALO by Bess Kalb and illustrated by Erin Kraan (Random House Studio; Hardcover Picture Book; 9780593810309; ages 4-8), a sweet and funny book about Fluffalo whose quiet prairie life is turned upside down by the arrival of a new sibling, and DON’T TRUST FISH by Neil Sharpson and illustrated by Dan Santat (Dial; Hardcover Picture Book; 9780593616673; ages 3-7), a nature-guide-gone-wrong about the seemingly innocent animals that live in the ocean.

RHCB Acquires THE SEVENTEENTH QUEST, A Landmark Middle Grade Debut Novel

Random House Children’s Books will publish THE SEVENTEENTH QUEST, a heartwarming and unforgettable middle grade debut by Elisabeth Kamakawiwoole, it was announced today by Melanie Nolan, Vice President & Publisher, Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers. Senior Executive Editor Nancy Siscoe acquired World English Language rights from Steven Malk of Writers House. Penguin Random House Supports Young Math Minds at 2026 American Regions Mathematics League Competition

This year, Penguin Random House proudly continued its support of the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) by donating book prizes to the outstanding student participants at ARML’s 2026 mathematics competition.

Held earlier this year, the event brought together more than 1,800 students competing on 128 teams from the United States, Canada, China, and South Korea.
