Grupo Editorial Author Eloy Moreno Sets Guinness World Record for Most Book Signed in a Single Day

It’s officially a Guiness World Record for books signed in a day!

At 5:30 a.m. in Madrid, at the Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial office, Eloy Moreno set out to defeat the previous Guinness World Record for books signed in a single day, which had previously been 6,904 copies. Moreno, an acclaimed author, has a varied audience that ranges from children to teenagers to adults and his fans traveled from far destinations for this once in a lifetime opportunity in Madrid. HOPE: Celebrating the Global Publication of the First Memoir by a Sitting Pontiff

HOPE, first autobiography in history to be published by a Pope.

On Tuesday, January 14, Random House Group published HOPE, the autobiography of Pope Francis in the US. The U.S. edition of the first memoir by a sitting pontiff is edited by Molly Turpin, Senior Editor, Random House. HOPE, which took the Pontiff six years to write, is published simultaneously worldwide in principal languages and in over 80 countries in time for the 2025 Jubilee of Hope.
