PRHPS’ newest client: Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group

Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS) announced on January 23, 2024, a multi-year sales and distribution agreement with Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group (WWBG), the publishing company encompassing the diverse fiction imprints of Wattpad Books, W by Wattpad Books, and Frayed Pages x Wattpad Books, plus the electrifying graphic novels of WEBTOON Unscrolled. Penguin Random House Acquires Independent Publisher & Self-Help Space Leader Hay House

Penguin Random House has acquired independent book publisher Hay House, a leader in the self-help, health and wellness space. The acquisition was announced today by Nihar Malaviya, CEO, Penguin Random House, and Reid Tracy, CEO, Hay House. Terms were not disclosed.

Currently a client of Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS), Hay House will now be able to further leverage the resources and gold-standard capabilities of the world’s largest trade book publisher to reach even more audiences and further elevate its authors. As part of Penguin Random House, Hay House will retain its editorial and publishing independence, and Tracy will continue to run Hay House as its CEO post-closing. No changes are planned for its Carlsbad, CA, New York, and London offices, or its management and employees.
