This past February, Berkley joined the nonprofit VOW for Girls and the romance community to help end child marriage around the world. With the help of donors, including Penguin Random House, the Every Girls Deserves Happily Ever After campaign raised $53,000. That’s enough to send 300 girls to school for a full year, covering all expenses from school fees to supplies and transportation.
