June is National Oceans Month, proclaimed such in 2016 by President Barack Obama:

“This month, let us continue the work of ensuring the well-being of these grand bodies of water and the communities that depend on them. As we celebrate the immense beauty and power of our oceans, we are reminded of our shared responsibility to protect them — now and for generations to come.”

Penguin Random House is excited to announce our continuing partnership with AFROPUNK. Following last year’s success as the sole book publisher sponsor of AFROPUNK’s Brooklyn festival, this year’s partnership includes a 10-week Instagram Live Rock ‘n’ Read interview series hosted by AFROPUNK, exploring topics around storytelling, identity and the creative process with Penguin Random House authors.
