Our Winners of the 2021 Kids’ Book Choice Awards

Every Child a Reader, the charitable arm of the Children’s Book Council, announced the winners of its Kids’ Book Choice Awards, formerly known as the Children’s & Teen Choice Book Awards. Among the prize-winning titles were two published by Penguin Random House imprints, and one published by a Penguin Random House Publisher Services client publisher. Launched in 2008 by the Children’s Book Council and Every Child a Reader, this represents the only national book awards competition selected exclusively by young readers. Continue reading →

This week saw the launch of Amanda Gorman’s poetry collection, CALL US WHAT WE CARRY, on the heels of Tiya Miles winning the National Book Award in Nonfiction for All THAT SHE CARRIED: THE JOURNEY OF ASHLEY’S SACK, A BLACK FAMILY KEEPSAKE.
