Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15th and runs through October 15^th during which time we honor the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrate their heritage and culture. September 15th marks the anniversary of independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
