BECOMING by Michelle Obama (Crown) has earned the top spot on USA TODAY’s 100 bestsellers of 2018 list, according to final 2018 data announced by the newspaper on Saturday, January 5. USA TODAY reporters Christopher Schnaars and Mary Cadden commented: “While the majority of the top 100 bestsellers in 2018 are fiction, it was one heartfelt memoir that topped this year’s list. Former first lady Michelle Obama, a.k.a. America’s most admired woman, dominated book sales in 2018, landing the No. 1 spot on the USA TODAY’s year-end top 100 best-selling books. “Let Them Read”– PRH and Legal Aid Bringing Books to Kids in Court

Last week, the Legal Aid Society announced a new campaign in collaboration with Penguin Random House called “Let Them Read,” which brings books into courtrooms for young New Yorkers to read while they wait for their cases to be called.
