Random House Canada to Publish Chris Hadfield’s THE DEFECTOR This Fall

Random House Canada is pleased to announce that it will publish a new novel from acclaimed astronaut and blockbuster bestselling author Chris Hadfield.

Random House Children’s Books announced today the book publishing program launch for Afro Unicorn®, a brand founded by April Showers, designed to remind women and children of color how unique, divine, and magical they are. Knopf Author Carolina de Robertis Awarded John Dos Passos Prize

Knopf’s Carolina De Robertis, the Uruguyana-American author of THE PRESIDENT AND THE FROG (2021) and CANTORAS (2019), was awarded the 41^st John Dos Passos Prize last week by Longwood University.

The award is given annually to an American creative writer who has produced a substantial body of significant publication that displays characteristics of John Dos Passos’s writing: an intense and original exploration of specifically American themes, an experimental approach to form, and an interest in a wide range of human experiences.
