Hogarth Acquires Two Books by Intl Booker-Winning Author Han Kang

Hogarth, an imprint of Random House, will be publishing two new books from the International Booker Prize winner, Han Kang. Parisa Ebrahimi at Hogarth acquired North American rights to the books from agent Laurence Laluyaux at Rogers, Coleridge and White, and Hamish Hamilton Publishing Director, Simon Prosser bought British and Commonwealth volume rights; translation rights to WE DO NOT PART have been sold by RCW in 17 territories so far. Riverhead Author Patricia Lockwood Wins 2022 Dylan Thomas Prize

This year’s Swansea University Dylan Thomas Prize winner is Patricia Lockwood for her debut novel NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS, published by Riverhead in the U.S. She received a £20,000 cash award. The Dylan Thomas Prize is one of the world’s largest literary prizes for young writers and it is awarded to the best literary work published in the English language from authors aged 39 or younger. Random House Launches New Imprint, Random House Worlds

Random House has announced the launch of Random House Worlds, a new publishing imprint dedicated entirely to licensed book publishing. This newly created imprint will be the home for major pop culture brands to be published within the Random House division, including Star Wars, Minecraft, Stranger Things, Garfield, Magic: The Gathering, Lore Olympus, Critical Role, and others. Mr. Terry, who edited and curated BLACK FOOD, receives $10,000 and a specially crafted hand-wrought ladle, an emblem of the prize.
