The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) announced the winners of the 2021 Christian Book Awards via live webcast on Thursday, May 6, with the ECPA honoring 14 winners in 12 categories. Random House imprint WaterBrook won three awards, including Christian Book of the Year for BE THE BRIDGE: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation by Latasha Morrison. Nominees for the Bouchercon 2021 Anthony Awards have been announced, with three Penguin Random House authors and their books among the finalists. The Anthony Awards are among the most prestigious literary awards for mystery writers, presented at the annual Bouchercon World Mystery Convention since 1986. Berkley to Publish Three Romance Novels by Stacey Abrams

Berkley won, at auction, World and audio rights to three romance novels by celebrated political leader and New York Times bestselling author Stacey Abrams. Previously released under the name Selena Montgomery, the novels were Abrams’s first published books and have been out of print for many years. Berkley will begin releasing the repackaged books in hardcover and audio formats in 2022. Linda Loewenthal of The Loewenthal Company brokered the deal. Continue reading →

The six-title shortlist for the 2021 Women’s Prize for Fiction has been announced and includes three books published by Penguin Random House imprints in the U.S. Now in its 26^th year, this UK-based annual award celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in writing by women throughout the world.
