The 52nd NAACP Image Awards, annually honoring the accomplishments of BIPOC artists across television, music, film and literature, are being presented in a novel manner this year. Each day, beginning on Monday, March 22, groups of winners are being revealed online leading up to a live ceremony broadcast across all ViacomCBS Networks, including BET, CBS and MTV, on Saturday, March 27, at 8:00 p.m. (ET).

PRH Audio’s 2021 Audies: Fiction, Humor & More

Two weeks after winning the 2021 Best Spoken Word GRAMMY® for its production of Rachel Maddow’s BLOWOUT, Penguin Random House Audio scored triumphs at its industry’s major annual competition, winning prizes in four categories at this year’s Audie Awards virtual ceremony on March 22. The Group won for Fiction, Literary Fiction & Classics, History/Biography, and Humor, each among five finalists, voted upon by the respective judges selected by the Audio Publishers Association, who organized the evening.

This year also marks the return of the Audie Award® for Spanish Language, which was last awarded in 2010. Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial received the Spanish-language prize at the event, hosted by John Leguizamo, with PRH Audio authors Tommy Orange and Melissa De La Cruz among the judges—who collectively listened to over 14,000 hours of audio book recordings to reach their decisions.

Join the Inaugural Katherine Min Fellowship Celebration on March 30

The Inaugural Katherine Min Fellowship Celebration will feature live readings and a memorial presented by MacDowell, the oldest artists’ residency program in the United States, to commemorate the life and work of Anchor author Katherine Min. Writers Victoria Chang, Cathy Park Hong, Marie Myung-Ok Lee, and Min’s daughter, Kayla Min Andrews, will be among the speakers at this free event, which takes place virtually on Tuesday, March 30 at 8:00 pm (ET) via Zoom. All donations made to the Katherine Min Fellowship at MacDowell will support future MacDowell residencies for Asian American writers. To register, click here.
