PRH Partners With Save the Children on 100 Days of Reading Stuff the Bus Tour

Penguin Random House has partnered with Save the Children their “100 Days of Reading – Summer is Better with Books” campaign to donate books and school supplies across the country between June 1-August 16. The campaign includes a range of activities and giveaways, as well as the unveiling of Save the Children’s 100 Days of Reading branded bus that will be traveling to underserved communities across the country throughout the summer. Out Today: Dr. Ibram X. Kendi’s New Books From One World and Kokila

Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, #1 New York Times bestselling author of How to Be an Antiracist and Antiracist Baby, has two new books out today, Tuesday, June 14: HOW TO RAISE AN ANTIRACIST (One World) and GOODNIGHT RACISM (Kokila). Dr. Kendi spoke about the genesis of these books on NPR’s Morning Edition, “Parents, teachers, caregivers have a choice in the matter as to whether we’re going to say anything to our children about race. But we’re saying things to our kids about race when they look at their books or they look in the curriculum and almost everyone is white. We’re saying who we value. Our Seven ‘22 James Beard Award Winners

This year’s James Beard Foundation Awards winners in the Book, Broadcast Media, and Journalism categories were announced on Saturday, June 11 at an awards ceremony in Chicago.
