The 2022 Art of Eating Prize for Best Food Book of the Year went to Bryant Terry for BLACK FOOD: Stories, Art & Recipes from Across the African Diaspora, published by 4 Color Books, an imprint of Ten Speed Press. Mr. Terry, who edited and curated BLACK FOOD, receives $10,000 and a specially crafted hand-wrought ladle, an emblem of the prize.
