Doubleday to Publish Bill Gates Book About Climate Change in June 2020

Bill Gates is writing a book about energy and climate change that will be published by Doubleday in June 2020. With this new book, HOW TO AVOID A CLIMATE DISASTER: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need, Gates seeks to share what he’s learned in over a decade of studying climate change and investing in innovations to address the problems. He will set out a vision for how the world can work to build the tools it needs to get to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Anthony Chirico, President of the Knopf Doubleday Group, acquired world rights to the book from Michael I. Rudell of Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo. Continue reading →

Jim Carrey to Publish Novel with Knopf

Jim Carrey has written a novel, MEMOIRS AND MISINFORMATION, that will be published by Alfred A. Knopf in May 2020. Carrey wrote the book in collaboration with novelist Dana Vachon. Knopf acquired world rights from David Kuhn at Aevitas Creative Management. The novel will be published by Knopf in hardcover and eBook, and by Penguin Random House Audio, on May 5, 2020.
